Day-to-Day in Uiaiku

Hunting, fishing and working the land; cooking, feasting and going to market; making buckets, canoes and community decisions,  is what makes up the day-to-day  in the village of Uiaiku, Papua New Guinea  These are busy and challenging, balanced and purposeful days in which I witnessed a lot of laughter. Everyone is part of the whole.  A society that’s working, and that’s fair and healthy … it is hard to believe!
